We at the Random Ramble Network feel privacy on the Internet is essential. Nothing is more important to us than the security of your data. The following Privacy Policy outlines what we collect from you, how we use it, and how we keep it secure. This policy applies to all products, services and websites offered by Random Ramble Pty Ltd.
Information We Collect/Use
- Information you provide - When you sign up for an account at one of our projects or promotion that requires registration, we ask you for personal information (such as your email address and an account password).
- Cookies - When you visit Random Ramble, we send one or more cookies - a small file containing a string of characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to allow access to the member only portions of our projects. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, disabling cookies will exclude you from logging in.
- Log information - When you visit a Random Ramble website, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
- User communications - When you send email or other communication to Random Ramble, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and to improve our response. These communications will never be shared publicly, and will only be used for quality control.
- Other sites - This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to web sites and services that are owned and operated by Random Ramble. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as search results or links from within our various projects. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.
Public Communications/Interaction
The Random Ramble Network employs the use of: chat rooms, chat boxes, forums, other types of message boards, person to person private messaging system and in some cases, a person to person instant messaging system on it's projects, to enhance the community aspects of the projects. Please be aware, any information you disclose on these areas becomes public knowledge. You are responsible for what you say and do in these areas. Please be cautious what you share with the community.
Termination of Accounts
Users can not manually terminate their accounts. This is to insure a fair and equal environment for game play. However, if you wish to terminate your account, this may be done on a case by case basis by contacting the staff. Also, if you remain inactive for a period of 60 days, your account will be removed from our systems.
Communications from Us
Upon creating an account with a Random Ramble project, you are required to submit a working e-mail address. This is for internal account management, and as a form of communication from Random Ramble to the player base. We promise your e-mail information will never be shared with any third party. We don't like spam lists either! All contact e-mails are internally generated, and are only sent per the users request.
Information Security/Access
Random Ramble employs all security measures appropriate to protect unauthorized access to and editing, disclosure or deletion of user data. These include regular reviews of the storage and security measures taken, and certain physical protection at the data center. Access to data is strictly restricted to Random Ramble directors, employees and agents who's need to know is appropriate for continued operation of the projects and the network.
Legal Requests
Random Ramble does comply with valid legal requests for user data, such as search warrants, court orders, subpoenas and/or any other legally compelling request. However, before complying with any such request, legal council will review every request thoroughly. We strongly believe in user privacy, and will never comply with such requests unless totally lawful.
Enforcement
Random Ramble always strives to fully comply with this policy. If you need to report a violation of this policy, please direct them to privacy [at] randomramble.com. Your query will be processed within 48 hours.
Changes to this Policy
Please note this Privacy Policy is subject to change. If changes are made, we will never reduce your rights without explicit consent. We expect any changes to this policy to be minor. However, any and all changes will be posted and made aware. In the case of major changes, e-mails may be sent to users who agree to such mailings.
